| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. | Shipping And Handling For UK Customers (including Channel Islands) all orders default to our first class postal service at £2.99. The option exists for free postage on all orders which will be sent via 2nd class post or standard parcel depending on the items ordered. A further option exists for guaranteed next day delivery using Royal Mail Special Delivery at £6.99. All orders for EU customers will be charged postage at £9.99 and will be sent by Likeys Ltd via Royal Mail using the most practical method for that particular order (in some cases this may mean two or more parcels being sent to satisfy the order at no extra cost to the customer). | Delivery Schedule Likeys are renowned for our speedy service: We aim to dispatch all orders received during the week before 3:30pm on the same day of ordering. At weekends any order received before 11:30 am Saturday will usually be in the post by midday but on occasions posting may be delayed untill the following Monday. |
| Back Orders Unlike many other web shops we hold all stock shown on the site. Therefore in theory no back orders should exist for web purchases. However if an item is shown as not in stock, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to source it for you. |
| Tax Charges All prices include 17.5 % VAT. 0% VAT is added to books and food items. If you are ordering from outside the UK or European Union, your order can be supplied VAT free upon application by the customer. In these instances your credit card payment will be reduced accordingly and a copy of your ex VAT receipt will be despatched with your goods. Local import duties may be payable by you on receipt. |
