Iceland - The Fire and Ice Ultra 2012

The Inaugural Fire and Ice Ultra will take place in Northern Iceland from 24th August to the 2nd September 2012. This incredible 250km (150 mile) 7 day, 7 stage race passes over some of the most stunning and amazing landscape as it winds its way through a country that in Geological terms is still "Under Construction"

The start of the race will be on the Vatnajokull Glacier (the largest glacier on the European Continent) before passing over Black Sand Plains, crossing Lava Fields, traversing stunning dormant Volcanoes, runs through bubbling Mud Pools, passes alongside and through the spray of the most powerful waterfall in Europe and also crosses over the continental divide between the European and North American tectonic plates.

On paying for your entry, you will still need to forward a completed application form to complete the entry process. This form is downloadable below and once completed can either be posted or emailed back to Likeys.
